The Todd Salmans Culture Award was created to honor PrimeLending’s CEO, Todd Salmans, as he prepared for retirement and transitioned into the role of Chairman. Launched in 2020 with the first recipients announced in 2021, the award celebrates the lasting impact of the empowering, people-centric culture Todd built during his tenure.
Given annually at the company’s national sales conference, the award recognizes three associates—one each from sales, operations, and corporate staff—who exemplify PrimeLending’s five core convictions: Honesty and Integrity, People-Centric Culture, Agile, Service Beyond Expectations, and One Team, One Purpose. Recipients are chosen through a company-wide vote, and each nominee is a reflection of the values that define what it means to be a Culture Champion at PrimeLending.
The award itself is a custom-designed piece, sitting on a 12" x 12" base and made up of five unique yet complementary elements, each representing one of the core convictions. While the individual shapes may seem abstract on their own, together they form a star—symbolizing unity, purpose, and the brilliance of a values-driven culture.
